One-On-One Attention From Experienced Lawyers

Chris Hatch

Mr. Hatch has dedicated his career to fighting for those who have been accused of crimes in Louisiana. In addition to trial work and plea negotiation/mitigation defense work, Mr. Hatch also handles appeals of criminal convictions in State and Federal courts. Appeals require a unique combination of oral argument and writing/researching skills, and Mr. Hatch is one of the only lawyers in North Louisiana to have obtained the reversal of a murder conviction and life sentence on appeal in the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Mr. Hatch began his legal career working as an attorney for the Court of Appeals of New Mexico, where he researched complex criminal and civil matters and drafted formal judicial opinions for the court. This experience with the judicial decision-making process has given Mr. Hatch invaluable insight into what works, and what does not, in winning cases on legal grounds. Since moving to Louisiana in 2007, Mr. Hatch has worked primarily in the areas of criminal trials, appeals, and post-conviction relief, as well as a substantial number of personal injury matters, including car accidents, slip and fall accidents, and pharmacy malpractice.
